3. Can Eddie Nketiah Haunt His Former Side (Again)?

Eddie Nketiah has been a breath of fresh air in this team. Any striker who offers any kind of threat in behind defences would be having watched Lacazette come short on repeat, but that would be unfair on him as his performances have been very strong.

Across his last four displays he’s shown gradual signs of improvement, too.

While it wasn’t the cleanest first half from him at West Ham – which was the case for everyone – he did come up with a key moment to win the corner for Rob Holding’s goal and then peppered Fabianski after the break with a string of decent efforts on goal. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.

With there being no signs of him losing his place in the side for the remainder of the campaign, a goal in this game against his former temporary home would be the perfect setup ahead of next week’s crunch derby clash.

Running himself into the ground, chasing lost causes and offering threat either side of the opposition defence, all that has been missing for him is the chance to wheel away and pick up the phone.

Not getting a fair crack of the whip in his loan at Leeds, albeit under a different manager, it would be a sweet moment for him to grab a goal in front of his home supporters, only this time in the Premier League, not the Carabao Cup.
