Arsenal: Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Tomiyasu, Tavares; Elneny, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah

Newcastle vs Arsenal Score Prediction

Sadly, this feels like the end of the road for Arsenal. As much as everyone needs to support the team (we will) and believe that Champions League is still well within grasp, there is a sinking feeling that can’t be shaken.

Everything seems too be favouring the hosts.

From the Gunners’ point of view the idea of a full-back pairing of Cedric and Nuno Tavares is terrifying. Both awfully prone to mistakes, the only hope is that they somehow cancel each other out and therefore have solid games. Ha.

We can hope.

The whole occasion, under the lights, with Tottenham having surely beaten Burnley the day before, it being Newcastle’s final home game and the immense pressure being placed on these players just spells disaster.

Arsenal have a fantastic record at St James’ Park, but this is a different Newcastle team, and an injury ravaged and possibly psychologically damaged Arsenal side.

Fingers crossed this is wrong.
