Like the Wolves win, this match is soured by ultimately finishing below Spurs following a stuttering end to the season.

Nevertheless, the opening North London Derby of the campaign was a ton of fun for us Gooners. I couldn’t sit down after watching magnificent goals by Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe, and Saka. It’s always sweet to beat your biggest rivals, but it’s even better to play them off the park.

When the season ends in a bit of a disappointing way it can sometimes be difficult to look back at the moments throughout and declare what the best ones were when given the full context. Despite the disappointment at the end, this season was very successful, and we saw a young team perform way above the expectations for it. I love this team, these players, and this club and I cannot wait to see what we can accomplish next season.
