Arsenal: Assessing whether to keep, sell or loan every squad member

Thomas Partey – KEEP – WHAT IF this guy wasn’t made of glass, eh? Partey was arguably Arsenal’s most impressive performer in 2022 before he picked up a season-ending injury at Crystal Palace. If he stays fit, the Ghanaian will play a key role for the Gunners next season.

Granit Xhaka – KEEP – Xhaka has his moments, but 2020/21 was probably his best season in an Arsenal shirt. While a new #8 capable of operating from the left half-space is required this summer, the Gunners would be wise to keep a hold of the Swiss international.

Mohamed Elneny – KEEP – The steady Eddie at the base of midfield recently penned a contract extension with the club.

Albert Sambi Lokonga – LOAN – Lokonga showed off his potential at times last season, but it’s clear that he’s not yet ready to be utilised as a #6 in the Premier League. He needs minutes, and a loan should guarantee that.
