After contributing to just three league goals during the second half of 2020/21, it’s fair to say that Martin Odegaard wasn’t the most popular of midfield options for FPL boffs at the start of the 2021/22 campaign.

And while the Norwegian only registered one double-digit performance last season, the dynamic playmaker was notably consistent. He was a regular for Mikel’s Gunners, starting all but five of their Premier League fixtures, as he contributed to 11 goals (7G, 4A) on his way to a useful 131-point haul.

Like Smith Rowe, Odegaard was hamstrung by a relatively unproductive end to the season. The stand-in skipper notched just three goal contributions in his final 13 appearances of the campaign.
