Upon reports that Nketiah has signed a new deal to stay at the Emirates, there is reason for excitement among Arsenal fans.

He had a great end to the season in north London with his development coming on leaps and bound. No longer is the 22-year-old just a fox in the box striker, but he has evolved into a more multi-faceted forward.

If reports are to be believed, Arsenal will only look to sign one striker this window giving Eddie plenty of opportunities to play and prove himself even more to the club. I have no doubts that Eddie Nketiah will develop into an outstanding number 9 for the Gunners.
