1. Slavia Prague matches
My favourite image of Laca comes from the Europa League knockout match against Slavia Prague. The opponents were coming off a win against Rangers in the last round where one of their players racially abused Glen Kamara. At the beginning of the match, Arsenal took a knee as a reminder of ‘no room for racism’ while Arsenal’s captain knelt right in front of the home side.
Lacazette then capped it off with a brace to send them out of the competition. It was a very rewarding victory to see how the club responded to Kamara’s accusations.
