Ousmane Dembele
The 25-year-old winger could be another target for Mikel Arteta should he choose to look in the Frenchman’s direction. After snubbing Barcelona’s final contract offer, Dembele is hitting the open market and will have no shortage of suitors.
With the Gunners in need of another winger as Nicolas Pepe looks set to exit the Emirates, the lightly built winger could be a cost-effective option for Mikel Arteta.
Armed with everything a top-quality winger needs in skill, pace, and power, Dembele could be a useful addition to the Arsenal frontline and could ease the creative workload on Martin Odegaard as he registered 13 assists for Barcelona last season. Wages are likely to prove a stumbling block, as is no Champions League.
Chelsea are also said to be the frontrunners in the race for the enigmatic Frenchman.
Having been linked with the winger in previous transfer windows, now could be the perfect time to jump at the opportunity. At just 25, Dembele’s still got plenty of high-quality football left and he would bring some serious experience to the squad as well.
