Florian Grillitsch

Given Mikel Arteta’s love for versatile players, the 26-year-old Hoffenheim star could prove to be an underrated and great signing. Not the household name like Jesus or Tielemans, but Grillitsch could prove to be an astute piece of business.

With his ability to play as a ball-playing central defender, a typical box-to-box midfielder along with a deep-lying playmaker, the 26-year-old could be a great addition to the Arsenal ranks and provide cover in several areas similar to Oleksandr Zinchenko. Just as good as starting moves as he is breaking them up, Grillitsch could prove to be a good foil for Thomas Partey or a great option off the bench for the Gunners.

A regular for the Austrian national team, the versatile star would come with experience as well. He ticks all the boxes as he’s young, and would cost nothing; it’s almost a no-brainer!
