2. October 1 – North London Derby vs Tottenham (H)

The first North London Derby of the season takes place at the Emirates on October 1. After Spurs pipped the Gunners to fourth spot last season, there will be more than a hint of revenge on the minds of Arsenal.

With Tottenham strengthening as well, the bitter rivals have got a leg up on their north London counterparts.

Since Manchester City and Liverpool are thought to be the only horses in the Premier League title race again, it will be down to Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham to battle it out for the remaining two spots.

These games will go a long way to setting a tone for the rest of the season, and winning the first North London Derby is as big as it gets, especially at the Emirates.
