How could it be anyone else? Patrick Vieira was an incredible player across the late ’90s and early ’00s for the Gunners.

Arsenal’s captain during the famous 2003/04 season he was an absolute unit in midfield. Vieira hit the ground running after arriving in London and never wavered. Most players require time to adapt to the Premier League but it was no problem for the Frenchman. He scored the goal that would cap off the 03/04 season and it was fitting that he would be the player to do it. He had some serious fire in him, especially in his battles with Manchester United’s Roy Keane.

His physicality and passing make him one of the Premier League’s best and Arsenal’s greatest midfielder ever.
