After spending the second half of last season out on loan, it is rumoured that Folarin Balogun could again be loaned out this summer. But where could the striker go?

One player we all thought would be getting some game time this season is young striker Folarin Balogun. After being loaned out to Middlesbrough for the second half of the Championship season last year, it was thought that with Arsenal in another competition this season, he could see game time.

But according to various rumours, the 21-year-old could be set for another spell away from the club. While it certainly raises eyebrows as only Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus as the club’s strikers, in the case that Balogun does make yet another loan move away, where could the 21-year-old go?

Balogun played 18 games for Middlesbrough last season, scoring three and setting up three as they finished seventh in the Championship standings.

What makes this a decent option is that Balogun is already familiar with Wilder’s players and his system. Having played a decent number of games last year, the chance to play consistently for Boro could prove decisive.
