Positive #1 – Eddie Nketiah

I have not hidden my love for this player and what he is becoming and what a performance from him in the US! He stood out in the first half with a weaker team around him and then got his goal from off the left wing in the second.

Nketiah is becoming a very dangerous and well-rounded player, and I am unbelievably pumped to watch him this year. He won Man of the Match tonight and he absolutely deserved it.

His joint phone celebration with Gabriel Jesus was also amazing, and it’s only a matter of time before that image is my screensaver. The pair have the potential to combine to deadly effect this season.

Negative #1 – Ramsdale at the near post

Arsenal went into the half drawing 1-1 after a Facundo Torres goal in the 29th minute from outside the box. Ramsdale once again conceded at his near post which is becoming a bit of a theme for the Englishman.

I am not hitting the panic button yet on Rambo, but it has been something to keep an eye on for a while and I hope that he can start to cover that deficiency.

The goal wasn’t all his fault, though, because playing with Pablo Mari and Rob Holding in front of him was never going to make his job easy. But it is still something he must improve on.
