James – Bournemouth, Leeds and Brentford. Bournemouth surely haven’t done enough in the window to avoid the drop, while Brentford’s form pre-Christian Eriksen’s arrival last season can’t be overlooked. They’ll succumb to second-season syndrome, I suspect. The losses of Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips will be too much for Leeds.

Adam – Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Fulham. Leeds were lucky last season to survive and losing Raphinha only makes things worse. First seasons in the top flight are notoriously difficult and for that reason, I have both Forest and Fulham going down.

Kenneth – Everton, Leeds and Bournemouth. They only just survived the ignominy of relegation last season, but the problems at Everton have not gone away and this could be the year they finally go down. Joining them in the Championship will be Leeds as they struggle to cope with the departures of Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips and newly promoted Bournemouth, who will struggle to bridge the quality divide despite automatic promotion last term.

Mitch – Bournemouth, Fulham and Everton. I don’t think any of these teams have done enough this summer to look like they’ll survive. I think Leeds and Forest have done far more to build teams to survive relegation

Trent – Leeds, Bournemouth and Fulham.
