This outgoing will have fans wistfully remembering days gone by. It seems only yesterday that Hector Bellerin was making his debut for the club, with all his youth and short hair on display. After a decade at the club, the Spaniard is destined for greener grasses.

Although his level dropped after experiencing injury after injury, there is not a shadow of a doubt that Bellerin has been an excellent servant to the club. His leadership on the pitch and activism off it have endeared him to fans and he will be remembered in a positive light.

The club and the player seem to have come to a natural parting of ways. With Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White the starting and backup right backs, respectively, and Cedric serving as a third-choice, Bellerin is surplus to requirements. He also rediscovered the joy of playing in Spain, for the club his family has supported for years.

This transfer may be the easiest to get done, with the Spaniard rumoured to be willing to pay part of his own salary to move on. This outgoing is an amicable one, with love shared between both fans and player. Good luck.

The importance of sales cannot be overstated. Arsenal took a bloated squad to America and the excess must be trimmed. Moving forward, Edu will need to start selling players as opposed to paying them to leave. Contract renewals and agreements must be completed more shrewdly as the rebuild continues.
