3. Diaby can create too
The winger is not just a one-trick pony. While yes, his goalscoring efforts are superb, he is also equally adept at setting them up for his teammates as well.
Martin Odegaard had five assists last season, while Bukayo Saka and Lacazette had seven in all competitions. Diaby doubled them. Last season he registered 14 assists in all competitions and 15 the year before.

That is not to say that he can repeat those numbers in the Premier League, as we saw what Nicolas Pepe did in France before his move. But it does add another dimension to the Gunners’ forward line.
Having a player who can not only score goals with either foot from either flank but can also create chances would add further variety and ambiguity to Arsenal’s attack. Diaby is just about the overall package regarding goals and chance creation.
The goalscoring and creative burden would be eased significantly with the 23-year-old’s arrival.
