Back-to-back Kopa Trophy nominee Saka is certainly Arsenal’s best hope of being represented on next year’s shortlist.

The winger was the club’s leading scorer in a promising 2021/22 campaign and if Arsenal are to build upon the youthful and dynamic foundations they’ve already established this season, then Saka will certainly have a big role to play.

The England international is a bona fide superstar whose indefatigable mentality will see him reach the very top.

Saka was one of England’s brightest sparks at the Euros in 2021, and he should be at the forefront of Gareth Southgate’s attacking plans in Qatar – presuming that he continues to star for the Gunners.

The Three Lions are among the favourites for the winter World Cup, and should they enjoy a stellar tournament with Saka earning plenty of minutes, then the 20-year-old will surely make the shortlist for the 2023 Ballon d’Or award.
