Arsenal 2-1 Fulham: Player ratings as Gabriel snatches late winner

Mohamed Elneny (DM) – 6/10 – Steady as ever. Typically lacked imagination with the ball but he did his job without possession.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 5.5/10 – The Swiss international certainly wasn’t as effective in Zinchenko’s absence. He reverted to a deeper role in possession and although there were times where he did rotate wide and advance upfield, he struggled to contribute.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 9/10 – Finally, he pulled the trigger. Odegaard reverted to his hesitant self in front of goal before his deflected effort drew Arsenal level. He galvanised the Gunners on Saturday evening, conducting his side’s possession play superbly throughout. Some of his touches were absolutely mesmeric.
