3. Sign someone!

Deadline Day is on the horizon and while Arsenal will reportedly be busy until the closure of the summer transfer window, it’s hard to envisage who exactly the club could bring in. But, given Partey’s perpetual injury woes and Elneny’s problem, they desperately need another midfielder added to their ranks.

Any new arrival wouldn’t be able to play on Wednesday night, but should a deal be completed before Thursday’s deadline then they could make the squad for Sunday’s trip to Manchester.

But whom could Arsenal sign? There’s nothing regarding Youri Tielemans right now, while links to Lens’ Seko Fofana are tenuous at best. The club are also associated with a move for Palmeiras’ Danilo, who’d be a brilliant option as a #6, but that deal will reportedly be difficult to pull off before the deadline.

Right now, I’m not optimistic that the Gunners will land an optimal midfield target but doing so would alleviate their current issue in the middle of the park.
