Overall thoughts

No one should be unhappy with the business the club did this summer. They strengthened all the areas they needed (midfielder aside), and the first team got seriously better. Then the outgoings were perhaps just as significant.

The deadwood was trimmed and left the squad similarly to January last year. The only knock is a lack of midfield options, so we have to pray that players do not get injured throughout the season.

But overall, the window gets a 9/10 grade as the club did everything it needed to do aside from grabbing a midfielder.
