With the news that the Ghanian was back with the first team training earlier in the week, the break due to the Queen’s passing allowed the Gunners star to recover without losing games.
Exactly what his role against Brentford will be is unknown as we know how important he is to the Arsenal setup. But given his injury history, it will be interesting viewing to see how much game time, if any, he will see.
Given the seriously congested schedule facing the Gunners now after having two games postponed, Arsenal cannot afford to rush Partey back, only to have him break down at the most inopportune time.
He is so central to what Arsenal does and allows the team to dominate the midfield, but will he be risked?
