What a first goal on your maiden Premier League start!

Vieira got his first start in the league due to the injury of Martin Ødegaard (which would’ve been a negative had I not been in such a positive mood) and filled in valiantly. He was assured defensively but was also a key part of the build-up and has gotten more and more comfortable overlapping and combining higher up the pitch. His overlap on Bukayo Saka gave the space necessary for the winger to drive towards goal and find a pass to Fabio Vieira who then fired home.

It’s the very subtle things that can make all the difference and we saw that once again from Ben White. He wasn’t called up by Gareth Southgate this month, so it’ll be a well-deserved rest for White ahead of the North London Derby.
