2. Thomas Partey’s fitness

Probably the most significant thing to watch. We all know how vital Partey is to Mikel Arteta’s side as he makes the team purr like no one else.

Given that he is coming back from an injury that saw him miss a few games, Arsenal will be wary of his game time over the international break. Partey played the full 90 minutes for the Gunners in their 3-0 win over Brentford, and we ideally do not want him playing full games, given the seriously condensed schedule in October.

We have seen in years past our star players get injured on international duty, and it ruined our season. This can’t happen again, and all Arsenal fans will have their fingers, toes and everything else crossed that Partey escapes unscathed.
