Espejord is poised to start up top for the visitors on Thursday in what could be an incredibly tall front line. While Pellegrino is 6’3, Norwegian striker Espejord is 6’2.

The 26-year-old is far from prolific, but he’s a handy target man that crops up with the odd significant goal. Espejord scored in Bodo/Glimt’s memorable triumph at Celtic Park earlier this year.

Remarkably, his seven-goal Eliteserien haul in 2022 is the most prolific of his career thus far, but Espejord’s job isn’t necessarily to score at will with Pellegrino in the side.

Instead, Espejord will be tasked with functioning as the visitors’ focal point and aiding their progression up the pitch. He’ll work his socks off without the ball, and the Gunners’ two centre-backs can’t be overwhelmed by his physicality and tenacity.
