Arsenal are back in Europa League action on Thursday as they take on Norwegian side FK Bodø/Glimt at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side are riding high after their 3-1 win over Tottenham in the North London derby. But attention now turns to Europe as they look to win their second group stage game after edging past FC Zurich 2-1 in their group stage opener.

The visitors are not to be taken lightly, though. Kjetil Knutsen’s side sit top of Group A and head into Thursday’s game after beating Lillestrøm SK 4-1 in the Eliteserien at the weekend.

For Arsenal, they will want to keep that winning feeling going and, more importantly, take some momentum into the weekend’s clash with Liverpool.

Arsenal vs FK Bodø/Glimt: 3 things to look for

Here are three things to look for on Thursday.

1. Team selection

No doubt Mikel Arteta will ring the changes as the Gunners play four games in nine days. It’s expected that the likes of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard, Oleksander Zinchenko, and Aaron Ramsdale will be rested.

That creates chances for Eddie Nketiah, Marquinhos, Sambi Lokonga, Kieran Tierney, Fabio Vieira, and Matt Turner to all get opportunities to impress.

We saw the Gunners dominate the opening group stage game against FC Zurich, so Arteta will no doubt have faith in that same XI to do a job for him on Thursday.
