Marquinhos (RW) – 5/10 – Looked a tad nervous on his Emirates debut. The Brazilian dallied in possession at times and wasn’t direct enough in one-vs-one situations. Hassled well without the ball, though.

Eddie Nketiah (ST) – 7/10 – Started really well and added to his Europa League goal haul with an instinctive tap-in. He’s a tough man to dispossess. Influence waned in the second period.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – 6/10 – Flickered his majesty in spells and had a big hand in the opener. He wasn’t heavily involved, however. Pressed smartly before he was withdrawn on the hour ahead of Sunday.

Substitutes

Gabriel Jesus – 7/10

Martin Odegaard – 6/10

Bukayo Saka – 5/10

Ben White – 5.5/10
