Bukayo Saka (RW) – 7.5/10 – Looked a level above in the first half and was Arsenal’s greatest threat during his 60-minute display. He scored the opener, albeit rather fortuitously.

Eddie Nketiah (ST) – 6/10 – Nketiah’s mini-scoring streak in this competition came to an end on Thursday. The striker wasn’t presented with many opportunities, but he worked hard and persistently sought to affect proceedings in any way he could.

Reiss Nelson (LW) – 5/10 – It just didn’t happen for Nelson on his first start of the season.

Substitutes

Granit Xhaka – 6/10

Gabriel Martinelli – 5.5/10

Marquinhos – 5/10

Takehiro Tomiyasu – 6.5/10
