Positive #3: Winning ugly

It was a tough match and Arsenal were able to grind out a win on an unusual pitch, with loud fans, and a solid team.

This Arsenal side has the capacity to grind out these kinds of wins, which will be unbelievably valuable as we carry on in this competition. I want us to win the thing and winning without being at our best is a good sign of things to come.

Negative #3: Sleepwalk performance

It was a good result and winning is important, but it was not a good performance. A similar display at Elland Road on Sunday will surely see Arsenal drop points in the Premier League for just the second time this season.

Top of the group, and Arsenal can secure qualifications with a win at home against PSV next week.
