Bukayo Saka (RW) – 7/10 – How did he score from there? Saka’s finish, which proved to be the winner, was exceptional and he had some success isolating Struijk one-vs-one in the opening period.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) – 5/10 – This was certainly Jesus’ quietest outing in an Arsenal shirt. He dropped so deep in the build-up and was a bystander for much of the contest.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – 6/10 – Full of energy and the timing of his infield drifts were once again superb. However, Rasmus Kristensen marshalled him pretty well, all things told.

Substitutes

Fabio Vieira – 5/10

Kieran Tierney – 5/10

Rob Holding – 5/10

Eddie Nketiah – 5/10
