3. Arsenal top of the league… still

As mentioned above, it could have been different. But for Mikel Arteta, his side found a gritty way to win. The result meant that Arsenal would keep their top-of-the-table status for another week.

Later on Sunday, Manchester City succumbed to Liverpool at Anfield which means Arsenal have opened up a four-point gap at the top. It’s still early in the season, but the Gunners are refusing to relinquish their winning habit.
