Bukayo Saka (RW) – 7.5/10 – Another stellar showing from Saka. He had the better of Philipp Max in the opening period, and he was borderline unstoppable after the restart. Looked a threat every time the ball arrived at his feet, but was poor in front of goal.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) – 7/10 – A frustrating night for Jesus, who did everything but score. After a quiet first half, the Brazilian dominated his duel with the PSV centre-backs and was able to fashion several openings for himself which he couldn’t convert.

Eddie Nketiah (LW) – 6/10 – Nketiah had success receiving in the left half-space throughout the contest and was dynamic on occasions. Just couldn’t piece it together with the final pass or effort on goal.
