Arsenal secured their third consecutive victory at Stamford Bridge as they produced a dominant display in a 1-0 victory on Sunday afternoon.

The first half was a bitty affair which Arsenal largely controlled as Gabriel Jesus missed a golden opportunity to give his side the lead.

Undeterred, however, the Gunners’ threat increased in the second half before they eventually took the lead through Gabriel, who tapped home unmarked from Bukayo Saka’s inswinging delivery.

The superior visitors didn’t let up against a depleted Chelsea side and they came close on several occasions to doubling their lead. The Blues staged a minor resurgence towards the end of the contest, but they failed to test Aaron Ramsdale as the Gunners held on for a rather comfortable 1-0 win.

Aaron Ramsdale (GK) – 6/10 – I mean, did he have to do anything?

Ben White (RB) – 7/10 – Seemed to relish the battle with Mason Mount and it was a duel he dominated. This was a performance we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from White this season.

William Saliba (CB) – 8.5/10 – This was a masterclass in recovery defending from Saliba. Whoever Chelsea threw on, there was no getting past the imperious French defender.

Gabriel (CB) – 7.5/10 – A woeful bit of set-piece defending from Chelsea allowed Gabriel to tap home the opener in what was the crowning moment in an assured display from the centre-half.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (LB) – 6.5/10 – God, it’s nice to have Zinny back. His importance to Arsenal’s build-up was evident from the outset as he produced a solid performance on his return.
