November was a short but nonetheless hectic month for Arsenal ahead of the World Cup.

The Gunners played in three competitions during this period, with the untelevised defeat to Brighton in the Carabao Cup unfortunately meaning that no player ratings were published for this game.

As a result, we’ve had to award our November Player of the Month based on three games. Two starts were enough to qualify for the award, with Bukayo Saka the current holder following his stellar October.

So, who has claimed the award on this occasion? Let’s find out.

3. William Saliba & Martin Odegaard (Average rating – 7.25)

Third place is shared between defensive stalwart William Saliba and skipper Martin Odegaard.

Saliba certainly hasn’t been perfect as of late with errors beginning to creep into his game, but he was so good against Chelsea that he earned an 8.5 rating for his performance. Odegaard, meanwhile, makes the podium after he spearheaded Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Wolves at Molineux.

While Saliba has jetted off to Qatar with France, Odegaard will enjoy his holiday ahead of the Gunners’ training camp in Dubai next month.

2. Gabriel Jesus (Average rating – 7.5)

The Brazilian was one of two players to start the three games that we were able to publish ratings for in November.

And while Jesus’ goalscoring rut continued, he didn’t half play well as the Gunners progressed into the round of 16 of the Europa League and extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points.

His lack of goals would be a concern if he wasn’t contributing elsewhere, but the striker’s contribution has been so distinct that very few are worried about his inefficiency in front of goal.

Jesus’ three starts in November garnered an impressive average rating of 7.5.

1. Thomas Partey (Average rating – 7.75)

WE’VE GOT A NEW WINNER, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.

Thomas Partey has barely featured in our POTM award this season, but he’s the victor for November after he starred against both Chelsea and Wolves.

He was my Man of the Match against the Blues as he controlled proceedings in the middle of the park, and the Ghanaian has played such a key role in Arsenal’s success this season.

Qatar beckons for the Gunners midfielder, but hopefully, there’s time for him to claim this prestigious award ahead of Ghana’s first group game against Portugal.
