Sergej Milinkovic-Savic doesn’t strike me as a Mikel Arteta player, as good as he is.

The Serbian international has perpetually been linked with a move away from Lazio and Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the uniquely profiled midfielder.

Milinkovic-Savic heads into the World Cup after suffering a dip in form for the Biancocolesti, but he’s poised to spearhead a talented Serbia squad in Qatar. His side have typically disappointed on the biggest stage in recent times, but there’s a feeling that 2022 could be different.

Milinkovic-Savic’s form will be key to how far Serbia go.
