5 Arsenal transfer targets to watch at the 2022 World Cup
5. Yeremi Pino (Spain)
Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino garnered interest from the Gunners in the summer, but the club failed to make a move for any wide man after bringing in Marquinhos from Brazil.
Given Spain’s injuries, Pino could play a more prominent role for Luis Enrique’s side than initially expected. Should he be granted an opportunity to start, Pino may well emerge as one of the breakout stars of the tournament.
However, if Arsenal want to sign the Spaniard next year, they’ll hope that he enjoys a relatively subdued tournament to ensure his value doesn’t skyrocket.
