Bukayo Saka – A: Saka’s campaign started slowly before exploding in October. His goal at Old Trafford ignited what has been a magnificent season so far. His ten Premier League goal contributions can only be matched by Gabriel Jesus in the Arsenal squad.

Marquinhos – C: Scored on debut but haven’t seen much of the Brazilian since.

Reiss Nelson – C+: Nelson’s breakout game against Nottingham Forest could be the start of a resurgence. He impressed in the cup defeat to Brighton before the World Cup, but we haven’t seen too much of him.

Gabriel Jesus – A+: Talk about transformative. While the goals have dried up, Jesus’ impact in almost every other regard has been profound. His signing may well define Mikel Arteta’s rebuild in north London.

Eddie Nketiah – D: A disappointment. Jesus’ brilliance has limited Nketiah’s Premier League minutes, and he endured a poor end to the Europa League group stage after starting brightly. Expected more.

Gabriel Martinelli – A: Arsenal’s new #11 is coming of age right before our eyes. Martinelli’s a full-back’s nightmare and has deservedly been called up to Brazil’s World Cup squad. Scarily only 21 years old.
