Arsenal will again have their ideas and transfer plans ahead of the January window, but with Gabriel Jesus’ latest injury, those plans could be thrown in the bin.

Given that Mikel Arteta’s side is flying right now and sits proudly on top of the Premier League, reinforcements could be coming in January. But who?

Reports have already stated that Arteta is in no mood to sign “squad fillers” and only has eyes for those of the requisite quality, narrowing the focus.

Several players have already been linked with a move to the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window.

3 players linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window

I take a look at three who have been the most prominent.

1. Wilfried Zaha

This one never seems to go away. Similar to the Julian Draxler days, Zaha is a name that is always accompanied with Arsenal. It’s improbable that Crystal Palace would part ways with its winger mid-season, but it is an interesting option given his contract situation.

Given Jesus’ current knee injury is expected to sideline him for three months, Zaha could prove rather valuable at the Emirates. While he doesn’t fit the age demographic of Arteta’s side, he is certainly first-team quality.

As is often the case with Zaha links, take them with a grain of salt.
