For the first time since 2018, Arsene Wenger returned to the Emirates. I was in shock seeing him on my TV screen watching the match and it was awesome to see. The club inviting him back was further evidence of the positive atmosphere that’s being generated at Arsenal.

“There’s only one Arsene Wenger” was sung around the stadium after the second goal. Wenger is a legend, so it was great to see him back. It’s time for his statue.

Negative #3: Bonus round

This was a great match and there’s not a lot to be bitter about, so it’s time for some bonus positives:

  • The comeback was great, but it never felt like we’d lose despite going behind. This team truly has it in them to be champions.
  • Ben White is so good. He just does little things every game that are just outrageous.
  • Bukayo Saka had Aaron Cresswell in HELL.
  • Both Kroenkes and Thierry Henry were also in attendance, so it was cool to show them what this team’s about in the flesh.
  • Mykhaylo Mudryk is so desperate to be a Gooner. Lol.

Overall, this was a fantastic match for Arsenal to go several points clear at the top of the league. A tough month is on the horizon but there’s no doubting this team’s legitimacy.
