I know what you’re thinking: Wolves, really?

But, believe it or not, there was a time not so long ago when the West Midlanders were a bloody tough side to beat and they had genuine European aspirations as they headed to the Emirates for this February Premier League clash.

The Gunners’ victory at Molineux two weeks prior and the whole celebration police debacle added a bit of spice to this fixture, and Wolves seemed destined to make amends for their previous defeat when they took the lead in the first half through Hwang Hee-chan.

Coming from behind to beat Bruno Lage’s side had proven to be an impossible task for the rest of the division and it seemed for so long that Arsenal would endure the same fate. However, an 82nd-minute Nicolas Pepe – remember him?! – equaliser burst the Emirates into life and with just seconds remaining, Alexandre Lacazette forced a Jose Sa own goal to hand the Gunners what then felt like a hugely significant victory.
