Midfielders
Thomas Partey (DM) – 6.5/10 – Culpable for United’s opener and was sloppy in possession at times. Certainly more efficient in the second period, and made an excellent recovery run to deny Antony from breaking in behind.
Granit Xhaka (CM) – 5.5/10 – Xhaka’s positioning in the left half-space caused United problems at various points in the game, but he couldn’t make the most of some promising openings. Wasn’t hugely influential.
Martin Odegaard (CM) – 8/10 – The skipper was defensively robust early on before he began to purr with the ball at his feet. Odegaard once again conducted his orchestra wonderfully, but he couldn’t quite produce the decisive action.
