3 positives & negatives from Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Man Utd
Positive #2: Is Bukayo Saka the best player in the Premier League?
It’s truly wild to be in a position where we can say this, but it genuinely might be true. His goal was sublime, and he almost did it twice.
He went up against one of the best left-backs in the league this season and made it look easy. Defenders are scared to face him at this point, giving him an obscene amount of space not to get burned, and they get put on toast regardless.
He started all of this and deserves every penny of that potential new contract.
Negative #2: Tough first half for Ben White
A half-time sub is never what a player wants, but unfortunately, that was the case for Ben White.
He wasn’t the only Arsenal player that produced a poor first 45 minutes, but with a yellow card going against one of the most in-form attackers in the league, Arteta understandably brought on Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The good news is that this performance is out of the ordinary for White, and I’m sure he’ll be back to his best next week.
