Arsenal took on Aston Villa at Meadow Park on Thursday in the quarter-finals of the League Cup and supporters were treated to a convincing 3-0 victory.

I personally don’t know what has gotten into the Norwegians at Arsenal this season. For the men, Martin Ødegaard has been phenomenal. For the women, Frida Maanum has stepped up massively when she needed to in her opportunity in the team. She did it once again against Villa with a Man of the Match performance.

The midfielder scored twice and registered an assist amid an unplayable display.

She is the first Arsenal player to hit the double-digit mark this season, and she 1000% deserves it.

Aston Villa didn’t really offer much in attack in this match. For a team that has taken four points off City, I think more was expected in the eyes of many fans but Arsenal will be happy to have cruised to victory.
