The man pretty much built the Emirates with his own two hands.

Arsène was a driving force in the creation of a new modern stadium that would cement the club as one of the best in the world. Despite receiving offers from football behemoths like Real Madrid, Wenger stayed on at Arsenal to ensure the financial safety of the club after the Emirates’ contribution.

The move to Ashburton Triangle meant that key players like Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole and Pires had to leave the club and instead the focus was on developing a younger core of players through the academy.
