Jorginho (DM) – 7.5/10 – What was everybody worried about? Jorginho filled in superbly for Thomas Partey. The Italian read the game excellently and barely put a foot wrong in possession. Made a big goal-line clearance to deny Manuel Akanji.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 4/10 – Had a tough role without the ball which he largely performed well, but he was just so poor in possession which hampered the Gunners.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 5/10 – The skipper was quiet by his lofty standards. Had little creative influence.
