Jorginho (DM) – 7.5/10 – Constantly probed the Villa defence and had success on occasion in finding his teammates in behind. However, Arsenal were far less secure in defensive transition as a result of the Italian’s inclusion. Great strike at the end.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 4/10 – A pretty nightmarish outing for Xhaka who was so often bypassed in midfield and was wasteful in possession.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 7/10 – Oh, Ode. How did you pull that wide?
