Midfielders

Jorginho – 4/10:

Jorginho seemed active on the offensive end by shooting early on. However, the Italian international switched off in moments that caused fans a scare. He lost the ball multiple times in midfield and was taken off at halftime to accommodate the returning Thomas Partey.

Xhaka 6/10:

Arsenal’s consistent man was not at his best but provided a solid defensive performance. Although some of his forward passing wasn’t at the level fans are used to with his new role, Xhaka led the team to a dominant victory.

Odegaard – 8/10:

Arsenal’s captain had an excellent game. Despite having a quiet first half, Odegaard came out firing in the second. Not only did he secure the third goal, but the team’s leader was active on the defensive side of the ball. He commanded the middle of the pitch.
