Martínelli – 9/10:
Martinelli started slow, something that fans would never describe the player as. However, much like the rest of the team, he exploded into life near the end of the first half. Capitalizing on the mistakes of Everton as the winger nutmegged Pickford to put the team up 2-0 going into halftime.
Trossard – 8/10:
The winger’s intention was clear from the outset. Attack the space behind the right back, and that’s precisely what he did—grabbing himself an assist to Odegaard for the third goal. The Belgian played very well, justifying yet again his starting role.
Saka -10/10:
The star boy pursued direct runs down the wing as usual. Despite capturing a perfect finish and an intelligent assist, Saka’s overall performance earns him top ratings. Fighting through fouls and poor refereeing again, the star pressed Everton to the limit—a perfect performance by Saka.
