3 vital factors in Arsenal’s Premier League title charge

2. Go for it in the Europa League

Arsenal fans will be prioritising the Premier League over the Europa League, and rightfully so. However, if we cast our minds back to the great Arsenal teams of two decades ago, a major criticism is that the Invincible squad should have gone on to win a European trophy.

Arsene Wenger was slighted for playing weak teams in cup competitions that ultimately caused a drop off in momentum and quality. Regardless of whether or not you agree with the aforementioned sentiment, it seems clear that Mikel Arteta has created a level of intensity, desire, momentum and fire that should only be maintained.

Arsenal is a massive club that should be going for all the trophies they can. The Gunners need to put their best foot forward in the Europa League and ensure that the domestic league quality is therefore continued.
