Ozil’s performance in this match was quite possibly one of the best individual displays from a single player I have ever seen in an Arsenal shirt. We initially went a goal down to the Foxes, but Ozil almost single-handedly dragged us back into the game – eventually helping the team secure a 3-1 victory.

His fantastic finish in the first half to level the game was impressive on its own. However, his role and assist in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal to make it 3-1 was mesmerising. We came into the game as underdogs, with Chelsea having just lifted the Premier League title, but Ozil, along with several others, ensured the title came to the north side of London. He did not score, nor register an assist, but Ozil had the ability to have a huge impact on a game without those two things.

His composure on the ball and eye of the needle through passes resulted in us producing multiple dangerous counter-attacks and emerging as 2-1 victors.
