5 clubs that could sign Folarin Balogun this summer

We may be over-estimating Balogun’s market this summer, but why wouldn’t Europe’s elite be interested in a 21-year-old striker that’s excelling in one of the top five leagues?

The Arsenal loanee is loving life in France, and PSG caught a first-hand glimpse of Balogun’s talent when he equalised late on at the Parc des Princes earlier this year. The striker has impressed everybody this term, and Les Parisiens have undoubtedly taken notice.

While it’s likely that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will remain in the French capital, Lionel Messi is a sure bet to leave which means a spot has opened up in their front three. Now, we’re not suggesting Balogun could replace Messi in PSG’s XI, but the French giants are poised to sign attacking reinforcements in the wake of the Argentine’s likely departure.

The only out-and-out striker on their books right now is young Hugo Ekitike, who could play a bigger role next season and beyond. But, PSG may be tempted by another young forward who has taken to Ligue 1 seamlessly in his first senior campaign overseas.
